Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA) is hiring Manufacturing Engineers to join the Fabrication Division in Salt Lake City, Utah.  This position will support metals fabrication and assembly, or possibly composite assembly.

Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including: Mid or Senior level Manufacturing Engineers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads Coordinated Product Teams (IPTs) in analyzing product development, sophisticated producibility studies, and production/tooling philosophies.
  • Refines, validates, coordinates, and implements conceptual designs and runs the program architecture for build.
  • Develops manufacturing plans and coordinates plan optimization.
  • Conducts complex producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements.
  • Resolves complex technical problems.
  • Serves as a project manager to ensure that contract requirements, specifications, design criteria, and schedule performance are coordinated and maintained.
  • Leads sophisticated design solutions and supports research of the new product or business opportunities.
  • Deploys company Lean Enterprise analysis methods.
  • Documents and communicates producibility standard processes.
  • Provides guidance to others through structured mentoring.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
  • Knowledge of working documents such as Engineering/Manufacturing Bill of Materials, Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Corrective Action.
  • Experience in metals fabrication (machining, forming, etc.) & metals assembly processes or composite assembly processes.
  • Level 3: 5+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Level 4: 9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary Pay Range for Experienced (Level 3): $103,700 - 140,300

Summary Pay Range for Senior level (Level 4): $126,650 - 171,350
