Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking a Numerical Control Programmer to support Metals machining, including High Speed 5 axis machining of soft metals in Salt Lake City UT.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate & Mid-Level Numerical Control Programmers

Position Responsibilities:

  • Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.

  • Plans, creates, verifies and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies for departmental work.

  • Identifies equipment and approaches, coordinates and assigns work and trains/mentors others.

  • Works under minimal direction.

  • Provides numerical control, machining and programming technical experience.

  • Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.

  • Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Associate Level)

  • 1 or more years' Experience in Numerical Control programming

  • 1 or more years' Experience with programming using CATIA V5

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

  • 5 axis programming in V5 CATIA

  • CATPart creation

  • CATProduct creation and assembly functions

  • High speed machining

  • Vericut simulation

  • Debugging and troubleshooting

  • Tool creation and library management

  • Configuration management principles

  • 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Mid-Level)

This role is primarily firstshift; however, there may be additionalshiftrequirements to support program objectives.

Pay and Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

  • Summary pay range for Associate (level 2): $83,300 - $112,700

  • Summary pay range for Mid-Level (Level 3): $100,300 - $135,700
