Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Experienced or Senior Supplier Quality Specialist (Level 3 or 4) to support the Supplier Quality Regional Operations team virtually, in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role requires travel to supplier facilities in the greater Salt Lake City area, as well as occasional domestic travel based on business needs.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Plans and conducts audits and assessments of supplier's systems, processes and products

  • Documents and reports audit and assessment results

  • Inspects or verifies products for compliance with requirements

  • Assists with assessments of supplier capability and capacity to perform current or potential future work

  • Provides supplier education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives

  • Resolves routine issues and concerns

This position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and will require the selected candidate to reside in the Salt Lake City, Utah area.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment

  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)

  • 3+ years of experience of conducting/leading Quality Management Systems (QMS) Audits

  • 3+ years of experience of conducting Quality investigations, Root Cause analysis and implementation and verification of Corrective Actions in production environments

  • 3+ years of experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills

  • 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Experience working with quality systems (Boeing Quality Management System - BQMS; International Organization for Standardization - ISO9001; Aerospace Standard - AS9100)

  • Willing and able to travel domestically

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Level 4: 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Level 4: Currently hold an FAA ODA Unit Member qualification

  • 3+ years of experience with project leadership leading cross-functional teams

  • Experience working with FAA-ODA Inspection Unit Members

  • Working knowledge of various quality tools and processes (FMEA, control plans, SPC and MSA)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range Experienced (Level 3): $93,600 - $114,400

Summary Pay Range Senior (Level 4): : $108,900 - $133,100
