Boeing Global Services (BGS) Warehousing & Logistics team​ is looking for an Entry Supply Chain Specialist (Level 1) to join our team in San Antonio, TX.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated organized self-independent that will respond to post production customer supply inquiries and coordinates delivery problem resolution. Assists in the collection and processing of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services. Maintains accurate inventory control of assets through inventory management. This individual will collaborate via written and verbal communication skills through various forums to ensure that Supply Chain strategies are executed efficiently with first-time quality, which may require coordination efforts from other functions to be successful in San Antonio, TX.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assists in analyzing post 3PL supply chain data to ensure performance meets agreement requirements in monthly metrics.

  • Enters, tracks, monitors and coordinates customer material and delivery requirements and customer orders.

  • Processes material returned from customers.

  • Assists in the analysis of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and performance.

  • Processes documentation associated with repair items and warranty claims.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • High School Diploma or higher

  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

The selected candidate will be required to become Department of Transportation (DOT) CFR49 and IATA Certified.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Supply Chain experience and knowledge of working with a Third-Party Logistics Company (3PL)

  • Material handling experience with processing Government Property

  • Warehouse Experience, receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping

  • Experience with Dangerous Goods/Hazardous material

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $51,000 - $72,000/Annually
