San Antonio Engineering team is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (Associate and Experienced) to support Executive Fleet Programs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines. 

  • Knowledge of manufacturing planning systems and ship side installation support preferred.

  • Develops, identifies and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build. 

  • Leads and implements manufacturing plans and nonconformance plans. 

  • Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements. 

  • Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices. 

  • Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule.

  • Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts. 

  • Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems. Implements lean principles and technologies.

  • Work with Industrial Engineering and IPT to sequence and integrate systems hardware installations with modification plan

  • Experience with sheet metal, machining processes and composites, as well as knowledge of assembly/installation processes to provide producibility recommendations to IPT.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

  • 2+ years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications.

  • 2+ years of experience utilizing professional/technical writing skills, teaming successfully to solve technical issues.


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills Experience):

  • 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Level 3: 5+ years of experience

  • 1+ or more years 747 commercial aircraft (or similar) maintenance knowledge

  • 1+ or more years related Shipside experience (supporting operations and quality)

  • 1+ or more years experience with data analysis (Excel, Python, Tableau, Power BI)

  • 1+ years’ experience with IVT.

  • Microsoft Office Suite Skills.

  • Experience with CATIA.

  • Experience with GoldEsp.

Summary Pay Range:

Associate: $70,550 - $95,450

Mid-Level: $84,450 - $113,850
