The Executive Fleet program in San Antonio is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Analyst Manager​ who will support the Boeing San Antonio Executive Fleet Operations team by serving as a front line leader for Operations Analysts. Successful candidate manages employees performing advanced technical knowledge and leadership to manufacturing projects to resolve production concerns via constraint management and resolution. Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees. Position is located in San Antonio, TX.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Daily management and resolution of shop floor constraints alongside direct reports

  • Teaming with the Operations leadership to lead and manage the Line Side Control Center (LSCC)

  • Engages with multiple levels of functional leadership (Operations, Engineering, Quality, Materials Management) to achieve program objectives

  • Engage in program improvement initiatives (Oobeya, work flow reduction, quality improvements, etc.)

  • Develops plans for long-range strategies, organizational goals, objectives and initiatives with Sr. Management

  • Researches and evaluates program issues and leads issue resolution efforts.

  • Provides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk.

  • Leads complex group work sessions selecting and using advanced Lean principles, processes and tools to implement the Boeing Production System for internal or external customers. Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria. Analyzes and interprets data.

  • Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives.

  • Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience): 

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, or maintenance engineering with commercial or military airplane programs

  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment or manufacturing support environment

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role

  • Experience developing presentations for and presenting to executive leadership

  • 3+ years of experience with process improvement and lean manufacturing

  • 3+ years of work experience in creating complex spreadsheets (e.g. creating Pivot tables in Excel) and creating data base program applications (e.g. Access applications)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Advanced experience in Excel

  • 3-5 years management experience

  • 3+ years of project management experience

  • Lean/process improvement certifications and prior experience

Summary Pay Range: $98,600- $133,400
