Boeing Brazil is seeking a Senior Customer Engineering, reporting to the Systems Engineering Manager, working out of the São José Dos Campos office.

The Senior Customer Engineering will to join the Systems Engineering team as a Customer Engineer to develop features focusing on the Flight Operations (Avionics) environment. In this role you will be ensuring that all affected functional groups have a common understanding of what is required & expected by the airplane purchaser. We help develop and integrate custom features for airlines and integrate them across Product Development, Sales and Marketing, and BGS organizations.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Airplane Development, Product Development and Airplane Programs to align feature development with BCA strategies across the BCA product line.

  • Lead the integration and alignment of feature strategy development and offerability on all Airplane Programs. 

  • Develop and manage configuration tools, feature strategies and offering structures to enable airplane configuration definition.

  • Use Customer knowledge, data analytics, regulatory, in-service and production insight and industry trends to ensure feature offerings provide customer and Boeing value, and communicate feature and product offering and significant configuration change information to Customers and Customer Engineering Account Managers.

  • Provide Programs, Customers and configuration teams with feature strategy, customer and industry knowledge, airplane configuration data, and feature product information.

  • Ensure Boeing leads the industry by providing technical advancements that result in increased market share and profit for the Boeing Company.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.

  • Must have a degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or other higher technical engineering education).

  • Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).

  • Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language. 

  • In depth with Flight Deck/Operations (Avionics) environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

  • Customer or Supplier facing experience is desired.

  • Experience in the development of airplane features.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. 

Additional Information: 

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil.  

Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Brazil.
