The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), Flight Crew Operations Manual (FCOM) organization is seeking a highly motivated Flight Technical Data Specialist (Associate or Experienced) to join the team in Seal Beach, California.

Position Overview:

The Flight Technical Data Specialist supports the creation and maintenance of the Flight Crew Operations Manual (FCOM) and Quick Reference Handbook (QRH).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Performs analysis and development of flight crew operations procedures, task listings, operations manuals, pilot's checklists and/or the software/data
  • Converts engineering data for use by flight crews
  • Performs the development, revision and instruction of flight crew training materials
  • Performs consultation related to in-flight emergencies and accidents
  • Collect information on customer publishing systems and digital data needs
  • Obtains regulatory authority certification/approval of operation and engineering documents

Work Authorization:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Seal Beach, California location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 2+ years of experience using the Microsoft Office Application Suite such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • 2+ years of experience in a team-based environment
  • 2+ years of experience working in a fast paced, high volume environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1+ years of experience in support of aerospace products, including commercial or military airplane flight operations
  • Currently hold a pilot license or pilot experience.
  • Experience working with Flight Crew Operations (Pilots, flight crew)
  • Publication Experience (Adobe frame, SQL Databases, XML, Python)

Pay and Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range:

  • Associate (Level 2): $81,600 - $110,400
  • Experienced (Level 3): $99,450 - $134,550
