Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Senior Project Management Specialist (Level 4/5) to join our Customer Support team in Seal Beach, CA.

The Project Management Specialist in Customer Support will drive strategy through collaboration and integration across the organization; partnering closely with leadership to define strategic priorities, make recommendations, ensure execution and visibility.

This role requires effective communication, influence, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions. The ideal candidate works well independently and has a proven track record of successfully managing and integrating projects from initiation through completion.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex, cross functional projects from concept through implementation, ensuring on time delivery, within budget and alignment with business objectives
  • Manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities across all functional teams
  • Directs and provides high level studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), determines scope, reports, and oversight of planning requests. Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case.
  • Develop visibility of the future business environment, opportunities and key projects
  • Develops solutions to highly complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation.
  • Authorizes commitment of resources by obtaining approvals from stakeholders.
  • Mentor and coach project team members promoting project management best practices and career development

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work in Seal Beach, CA.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Finance or a related field OR equivalent work experience
  • 6-8 years + of experience in Program or Project Management.
  • 6-8 years + of experience developing presentation materials suitable for executive level management.
  • 6-8 years + of experience building relationships and partnering with all levels of employees, including executives.
  • 6-8 years + of experience working in ambiguous and fast changing environments

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Master's degree in business or a related field
  • Experience in a leadership role, leading teams or projects to successful completion
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders
  • Experience applying analytical skills, performing analysis and scenario modeling
  • Strong leadership and project management skills with a track record of building and leading teams in a cross-functional environment
  • Experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence stakeholders at all levels

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range:

Level 4 - $126,000 - $141,550

Level 5 - $156,000 - $173,000
