Boeing Global Services, Parts & Distribution Services is looking for a Senior Quality Manager to lead the Global Warehousing & Supply Chain Services organization, based at the Spares Distribution Center atSeaTac, WA. Position is located in Sea Tac, WA or Seattle, WA.

Position Summary: 

Join our team as a Senior Quality Manager, where you'll play a pivotal part in managing and developing teams across multiple Quality Management disciplines to ensure our organization consistently meets and exceeds quality standards. You will develop and execute strategic business plans, policies, and procedures that drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. By providing education and coaching on the Quality System, you will empower your teams to maintain compliance and deliver superior results.

In this exciting role you will lead process improvement initiatives, manage resources effectively, and foster strong partnerships with customers, stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams. Your ability to motivate and develop employees and first-level managers will be key to building a high-performing quality organization that supports our business objectives.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coach the Quality Assurance department across domestic and international warehouse and forward stocking locations, ensuring alignment with AS9100/9120 standards for aerospace components and materials.

  • Familiarity working in ERP systems; GOLD and SAP

  • Oversee both parts inspection and quality investigation functions, driving compliance and excellence throughout the quality lifecycle.

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans, policies, and procedures that support organizational goals.

  • Ensure consistent site compliance across multiple domestic & international locations, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

  • Provide education, training, and coaching on the Quality System to empower teams and sustain compliance.

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with domestic and international teams, customers, suppliers, and partners to drive quality initiatives and operational efficiency.

  • Manage and lead the team supporting various customer and internal programs and implement systemic, long-term corrective action sustainment to strengthen quality performance.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports to support business objectives.

  • Oversee the departmental budget and fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)

  • 3+ years of experience working with industry standards and regulations such as AS9100, Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Parts 21, 25 and 91, FAA Order 8100.15, and FAA Order 8110.4C

  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role leading global teams, initiatives, or projects that demonstrated improvement to cost and quality and the ability to influence change

  • 5+ years of experience managing teams spread across multiple locations

  • Fluent in both verbal and written English

  • 3+ years of experience with inventory control systems and maintenance recordkeeping systems, such as ERP, Ariba, CMES, Cribmaster, CTMA, and Microsoft Excel

  • 3+ years of experience working with Quality and/or Safety Corrective Action/Preventative Action, Root Cause Corrective Actions

  • 3+ years of experience with risk identification and mitigation plans

  • Travel domestically and internationally 25% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Previous experience as a functional leader, managing a domestic and international team of represented employees, individual contributors as well as managers.

  • Deep understanding of domestic and international aviation regulations and quality standards across the United States, Europe and other international regions applicable to the Aerospace.

  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

  • Solid competencies in leading employees and the ability to create a motivating and structured work environment.

  • Knowledge & experience with dimensional inspection tools and methods.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $154,700 – $171,350
