The Boeing Company’s Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) organization is currently seeking a Business Operations Lead to join the team in Seattle, WA; Everett, WA; Kent, WA; or Renton, WA

As the Business Operations Lead, you will support the Business Operations Senior Manager of the Engineering and Product Support Organization. This individual will also work closely with the Vice President and other Business Operations leads to build and enhance organizational operational integration with a strategic focus.

The Business Operations Lead is a challenging leadership position requiring versatility and resilience. The ideal candidate will possess the technical acumen required for this role while also having a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams.

In this high-visibility role, this BusOps Lead will report to the Business Operations Senior Manager. You will provide direct support to the Vice President and also be responsible for helping to lead a team of other Leads supporting Executive Directors within the organization.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight of actions related to operations, risk, and portfolio/financial management; ensure consistent follow through

  • Build and maintain operational rhythms, including regular meetings, reporting, and performance metrics to ensure alignment and accountability across teams

  • Prepare materials for executive meetings, including presentations, reports, and strategic documents

  • Manage stakeholder relationships across the organization, ensuring effective communication and alignment on strategic priorities

  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, encouraging team members to share ideas and best practices

  • Demonstrate versatility and resilience in navigating challenges and adapting to changing business needs

  • Demonstrate extremely high levels of attention to detail; produce high quality deliverables with minimal rework

  • Respond well to fast-paced, feedback-rich environments

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership

  • 5+ years of experience directly supporting senior/executive leaders

  • 5+ years of experience working in Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent technical field

  • 5+ years of experience with business operations and/or business process improvements

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience

  • 5+ years of experience communicating with executive audiences

  • 5+ years of experience collaborating internally across multiple organizations

  • Experience leading a team either formally or informally, mentoring, and supporting team members

  • Experience in Program Management, Compliance, Risk Management and Finance

  • Experience with the Objectives and Key Results (OKR) goal-setting framework

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Level 4: $138,550 – $187,450

Summary pay range for Level 5: $168,300 – $227,700
