The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking a Business Operations Manager to join our team in Seattle, WA, Berkeley, MO, Oklahoma City, OK, or Mesa, AZ. We are seeking a strategic and hands-on leader to establish and manage a newly formed team of Control Account Manager (CAM) Analysts aligned to support our BDS test program CAMs, including Air Dominance, Phantom Works, Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B), and Vertical Lift. This role is critical in driving the financial integrity of complex test programs by integrating cost, schedule, and scope performance.

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrate effective problem-solving abilities. They will be able to manage tasks with accuracy, define processes, and collaborate clearly and professionally with team members at all levels.

Travel might be required between 25%-50% of the time.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead the stand-up of the CAM Analyst team for BDS test programs, including recruitment, onboarding, and defining clear roles and responsibilities

  • Oversee the execution of Earned Value Management (EVM) to track project health

  • Establish standardized policies and procedures for cost accounting and reporting to ensure compliance with industry standards

  • Create a strategic partnership with Test Program Managers, Test Program Integrators, Integrated Planning & Scheduling, and Finance

  • Provide ongoing training and guidance to direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment: To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship

  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”

  • 5+ years of experience in a finance-related position including but not limited to: Financial Operations, Accounting, Estimating, or Financial Planning

  • 5+ years of experience in project management or project scheduling

  • 5+ years of experience producing and presenting presentations at the Executive level

  • 5+ years of experience developing/maintaining resource management, earned value management, risk management, and project management

  • 5+ years of experience collecting, interpreting data, and managing high level projects for Executives or Senior Leadership

  • 5+ years of experience gathering and analyzing data

  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams

  • Previous Cost Account Manager experience

Summary Pay Range Manager (Level K): $109,650 – $171,350
