The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Data and Application Integration Senior Manager to join the team in Seattle, WA; Dallas, TX; or North Charleston, SC

This position is responsible for the strategy, architecture, implementation, and operations support for key Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) products, including, but not limited to: Message Business and Integration, Secure File Transfer, and Microservices. This team utilizes SAFe®/Agile methodology to continuously deliver tangible value to Boeing’s current and future business streams.

This role requires a manager who will motivate and lead employees to develop and drive organizational plans, procedures, stakeholder engagement, and right-fit architecture for the products they own to meet the requirements of the business. This role also provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements; develops and maintains relationships with stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports; and provides input and influence on the IDT&S product strategy and technical approach at the enterprise level.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage and integrate employee and other activities across Information Technologies including infrastructure design and administration, application analysis and design, information management, architecture, computing security, computing project support and/or process analysis

  • Develop and execute integrated departmental plans, policies and procedure and provide input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, and objectives

  • Drive Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to meet organizational goals

  • Acquire resources for department activities, provide technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Retain top talent by constantly employing them on varying Statement of Works (SOWs) based on strategic and tactic priorities

  • Mentor team members and help them to set and achieve personal goals

  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports across different cultures and time-zones

  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Manage and provide developmental opportunities for employees

  • Drive automation opportunities such as Development, Security, Operations (DevSecOps), automated build, test automation and other available tools to expedite the product development for achieving first time quality

  • Resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur, consistently following through details while driving innovation as well as issue resolution

  • Responsible for Long Range Business Plan (LRBP) planning and finance performance

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership

  • 5+ years of experience working within a global development team

  • 5+ years of experience within information technology

  • 3+ years of experience in a managerial role

  • 3+ years of experience in application integration, APIs and Microservices

  • 3+ years of experience with Scaled Agile Framework or Agile Methodologies

  • Willing to travel domestically as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 10+ years of experience communicating effectively with multiple levels of an organization

  • 10+ years of experience in Information Technology (IT) Systems

  • 5+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, guiding, and leading teams

  • 5+ years of experience with Information Technology Program or Project Management

  • 5+ years of experience managing integrated road maps

  • 5+ years of experience managing supplier strategy performance and relationships

  • 5+ years of experience manufacturing, aerospace or relevant industry

  • 3+ years of experience with SAP Activate and Agile/SAFe® methodology

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $161,550 – $233,450
