The Boeing Global Services (BGS) organization is seeking an Experienced Business Intelligence Analyst (Level 4) to join our BGS Business Solutions business intelligence and analytics team.  The mission of the BGS Digital Solutions team is to deliver performance insights to enable efficient operations, better decision-making, and operations planning. The resulting data timeliness, accuracy, and ease of access improves performance awareness and accountability across all organization levels.

This position involves designing, developing, and implementing Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, which encompass information models, dashboards, metrics, and reports. Additionally, the role demands proficient data engineering skills, including techniques for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) to integrate large and complex datasets from diverse sources. A strong emphasis will be placed on data automation and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices to ensure scalability, repeatability, and reusability.

Currently, team members are located throughout the United States in St. Louis, Chicago, Huntsville, Seattle and Oregon. This position is expected to be onsite in Seattle or St. Louis.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for reports, dashboards and analytic solutions
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into staging areas and data warehouses.
  • Design, build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports
  • Develop and optimize data models including data storage solutions
  • Deliver insights and recommendations to stakeholders to support operational decision making
  • Stay current with emerging BI tools, technologies and best practices

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • Education/experience acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
  • Minimum 3 years data engineering experience (SQL, Python, Javascript, Data Modeling)
  • Minimum 3 years creating data analytics, data visualizations/dashboards (Tableau, PowerBI, UX/UI Design Principles)
  • Experience with data warehouses, data governance and security
  • Strong understanding of data structure and management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional technical experience including: React, R Studio, Git, APIs
  • Flexible, reliable, self-motivated team player with ability to work independently
  • Exceptional time management, organizational skills, attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and balance multiple projects and priorities
  • Ability to communicate effectively to senior levels of management

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay Range: 119,850 - 162,150
