The Boeing Global Services (BGS) Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul team is seeking a Experienced Procurement Agent to join the Supplier Management team in Seattle, WA. This individual will play a critical role in managing repair lifecycle, supplier relationships and project managing all aspects of their performance, blending strategic thinking with execution.

Successful candidates will possess excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate cross functionally and a passion for Supply Chain. This role will directly impact our operational efficiency and overall supply chain effectiveness, ultimately contributing to the success of customer service level

Position Responsibilities:

  • The candidate must possess strong business acumen, communication and problem solving skills.
  • Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
  • Proactive engagement with various disciplines and program stakeholders is required.
  • Follows Boeing procurement processes to issue purchase orders to suppliers for parts and services.
  • Executes supplier performance evaluation and performance improvement plans while conducting risk and issues assessments
  • Supports pricing and lead-time negotiations for maintenance, repair, and overhaul services.
  • Collaboration with other internal teams to gain process efficiencies and meet the needs of our internal and external customer’s requirements.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in supplier management, procurement, supply chain in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
  • 3+ years of experience interacting with suppliers, at all levels
  • 3+ years of experience in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • 3+ years of experience managing and analyzing large amounts of data to produce recommendations and action plan
  • Able to travel 10% of the time
  • Experience in a self-directed role

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience in strategic decision making
  • Communication skills and customer focus are critical to be successful in the role.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $78,000 - $133,200
