Boeing Global Services Training and Simulation Digital Services (T&SDS) is seeking a results-driven Technical Business Support Specialist to accelerate lifecycle support, delivery, and continuous improvement of Boeing simulator products and services.

This position is expected to be 100% on-site.  The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at the Seattle, WA location.

Job Description

This role ensures Boeing’s simulator solutions are deliverable, supportable, and compliant across the product lifecycle.  You will influence program offerability and sustainment outcomes, reduce risk through rigorous data and contract stewardship, and enable our customers and suppliers to operate effectively and securely.  In this role, you will also blend technical coordination, data stewardship, contract execution support, and cross‑functional leadership to ensure on‑time, compliant, and business‑ready deliverables across global customers and suppliers.  The Specialist will be an integral member of the Business Offerability sub‑team and will drive processes that improve product supportability, reduce risk, and increase program offerability

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead integration, management, and monitoring of simulator product lifecycle support to meet contract requirements, schedules, and performance objectives.

  • Coordinate engineering data distribution, ensure accuracy and controlled access, and maintain compliance with export, IP, and regulatory requirements.

  • Define support requirements, technical objectives, and clear statements of work (SOW); decompose deliverables and track fulfillment against contract obligations.

  • Support proposal activities by collecting and validating technical data, cost drivers, and execution assumptions; prepare briefings and status reviews for internal stakeholders and customers.

  • Develop and optimize processes for documenting, validating, and maintaining technical procedures and system support data (including provisioning and configuration documentation).

  • Assess engineering proposals for product support impact and provide actionable recommendations to minimize lifecycle risk and cost.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners — including GTC, Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Supplier Management, Engineering, and IT — to align resourcing, facilities, and technical approaches against SOW commitments.

  • Drive integrated technical approaches with subject matter experts, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and continuous improvement of logistical support solutions.

  • Manage supplier and contract interfaces: facilitate contract creation, monitor supplier performance, and close gaps to ensure contractual and export compliance.

  • Maintain and support reporting and data management tools; champion automation initiatives to streamline customer requests, contract generation, and data flows.

  • Assist in delivery, organization and management of documentation requirements to customers.

  • Support customer-facing activities (e.g., My Boeing Fleet support), respond to technical data requests, and ensure closure to customer satisfaction.

  • Assist in technology transformation initiatives, including system upgrades and controlled IP access validation.

  • Assist in the organization of non-standard customer requests and drive items to completion.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 7+ years’ related experience

  • Salesforce experience

  • Proven experience coordinating technical data, SOW development, and lifecycle/product support activities in aerospace or complex systems environments.

  • Familiarity with export controls, IP protection, and regulated delivery processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, supplier management, procurement, and commercial teams.

  • Strong analytical skills: proficiency in data analysis, provisioning requirements, and documentation control.

Preferred Qualification (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Proven experience coordinating technical data, SOW development, and lifecycle/product support activities in aerospace or complex systems environments.

  • Familiarity with export controls, IP protection, and regulated delivery processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, supplier management, procurement, and commercial teams.

  • Strong analytical skills: proficiency in data analysis, provisioning requirements, and documentation control.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience preparing proposals, technical briefings, and status reviews.

  • Experience with tools/systems for engineering data management, contract tracking, and automated workflow solutions is a plus.

  • Customer-focused mindset and proven ability to deliver quality outcomes under schedule and compliance constraints.

  • Salesforce experience a plus

Typical Education/ Experience:

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range:              93,500 – 126,500
