Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring a Flightline Readiness Tech Inspector Manager (Level K) located in Seattle, WA to oversee our flightline operations and aircraft management of deliveries.

You will be responsible for daily crew supervision and aircraft management. Primary responsibility will be aircraft status, flight release, aircraft ticketing, and repair station activity. This is a 2nd shift position.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads & supports success of team activities to ensure air vehicles are completed & pass certification for airworthiness
  • Team activities include overseeing final component installation; systems operation functional testing, modification, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair; preflight and post-flight checks; release for flight; and preparation for delivery
  • Interfaces & collaborates with flight crews, engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and ensure customer acceptance
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
  • Provides education and coaching
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and employees
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Manages, leads, develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Active A&P License
  • 3+ years of experience working in manufacturing or flightline operations

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Demonstrate commitment to safety and Incident & Injury Free principles
  • Experience influencing positive change

Pay & Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $119,850 - $162,150
