The Boeing Company is looking for a Mid-Level Information Technology Developer to join the team in Seattle, WA; Everett, WA; Hazelwood, MO; Huntsville, AL; Long Beach, CA; Mesa, AZ; Oklahoma City, OK; Ridley Park, PA; Plano, TX; or Seal Beach, CA.

We are looking for an experienced specialist with strong expertise in Object‑Oriented languages and modern Front‑End Frameworks to support the Integrated Repair Management System (IRMS). Responsibilities include new capability development, environment management, and operational support of IRMS.

IRMS supports the Boeing Commercial Airplanes Airplane on Ground (AOG) service by managing damage surveys at customer sites, creating Bills of Material, and tracking shipment of parts, tools, and repair items. IRMS also captures customs data and provides information for invoicing airline customers.

The selected candidate will collaborate with our Boeing India development team and support the development, implementation, and ongoing support of the next‑generation system that will replace IRMS.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop new capabilities and functions

  • Perform code reviews and support functional testing

  • Provide operational and sustainment support for the application

  • Debug and resolve production issues

  • Write user stories and work within Azure Development Operations (DevOps) for DevOps processes

  • Design, program, test, implement, document and maintain computing applications

  • Gather and evaluate end user requirements

  • Write and compile code and construct database objects based on documented design and analyze information to determine architecture specifications, parameters for software compatibility, application security needs and other application architecture requirements

  • Modify or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality

  • Identify and resolve programming or application architecture problems

  • Review system performance and identifies and recommends improvements

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with Object Oriented Design and Programing in a high-level language like C#, .NET, Java, SQL, HTML and CSS

  • 3+ years of experience with Java, JavaScript, or C++

  • 3+ years of experience in SQLServer and/or Oracle

  • 3+ years of experience with project tracking software such as Jira and/or Azure DevOps

  • 3+ years of experience with coding, debugging and development

  • 3+ years of experience in application integration, APIs and Microservices

  • 3+ years of experience developing automation testing & maintaining automation tools

  • Experience using SonarQube and/or Coverity to instrument, trend and manage code quality

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • Experience with microservices application development

  • Experience with third-party cloud set-up and management such as Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  • Experience with large-scale, enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems (e.g, 3Dx) and/or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) (e.g. SAP)

  • Experience with Azure DevOps for application management, code repository, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)

Summary pay range: $97,750 - $152,950
