The Boeing Company is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Network and Security Project Management Office Senior Manager to join the Network Infrastructure Services & Data Centers (NIS & DC) team in either Seattle, WA; Berkeley, MO; Huntington Beach, CA; North Charleston, SC; Ridley Park, PA; Miami, FL; Huntsville, AL; Seal Beach, CA; Chicago, IL; or Arlington, VA.

The selected candidate should have strong familiarity with enterprise IT systems, Cloud and emerging technologies to join our innovative team and oversee projects related to design, implementation and maintenance of the organizations network, IT infrastructure and security measures. This role requires managing a team of Project Managers (PMs), Technical Project Managers (TPMs), and Project Integrators, ensuring the network project portfolio is strategically aligned, organized, prioritized, managed, measured and reported. It is essential for this management position to foster a culture of Process & Collaborative Excellence with commitments to Reliability, Quality Assurance, Risk Management and Performance that meet the highest standards. You will collaborate closely with project teams, stakeholders, business partners, Managers, Senior Managers to achieve these goals through program development, process excellence, and analytic measures designed to proactively resolve issues and drive continual service improvements.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the Network Project Management team ensuring that a program of process excellence and continual improvement are established through defined methodologies that support enterprise network and security projects

  • Lead the intake process with key stakeholders to refine it and update it as necessary

  • Develop a comprehensive project portfolio for organizational projects and oversee the daily management of the portfolio, by ensuring critical elements like, strategic alignment and prioritization are established

  • Develop and manage optimized resource planning associated with network and security projects that factor in: budgets, timelines, and resource allocation

  • Develop, implement and sustain a detailed communications and collaboration program with project teams, stakeholders, business partners and leadership that inform and align diverse teams to common goals and outcomes

  • Identify potential organization risk and quality issues

  • Develop mitigating strategies and implement programs of corrective action

  • Determine, deploy and contribute to a common report-out framework that facilitates organizational requirements to capture and publish all manner of metrics, KPI’s, and statistical analysis to manage and run the business

  • Lead and mentor a team of Project Managers (PMs), Technical Project Managers (TPMs), Project Integrators, and analysts, fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience managing a Project Management Office (PMO) or technical team

  • 5+ years of experience in managing and/or leading network operations in a complex environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience with complex project & program management

  • Experience driving a culture of can-do attitude and innovation

  • Project Management certification

Pay & Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $151,300 – $218,500
