The Boeing Company’s Coaching and Organizational Development (OD) organization is seeking a strategic Organizational Development and Change Consultant to partner with business leaders in driving organizational effectiveness (OE), leading change initiatives, and strengthening leadership capability. This position can be based in Seattle, WA, North Charleston, SC, or Berkeley, MO.

This role focuses on diagnosing organizational challenges and designing targeted interventions that improve team performance, enable transformation, and align leadership behaviors with business strategy. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capability and the ability to connect data to action, facilitation expertise, and strong business acumen to deliver impactful organizational outcomes. Additionally, they possess the ability to influence across multiple levels of the organization and maintain a people-first mentality regarding change management.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business leaders, Human Resources, and Leadership Development to assess organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and team dynamics

  • Identify root causes of performance gaps and recommend targeted interventions

  • Translate business strategy into organizational and leadership actions

  • Collaborate with OD/OE professionals in a community of practice

  • Design and support change management strategies for key business initiatives

  • Guide leaders through organizational transitions, including restructuring, growth, and transformation

  • Build leadership capability in leading change effectively

  • Influence OD/OE professionals on best practices across the Boeing footprint

  • Facilitate leadership team alignment sessions and strategic offsites as a consultant

  • Support teams in clarifying goals, roles, and operating rhythms as a consultant

  • Strengthen trust, accountability, and decision-making within teams as a consultant

  • Align OD initiatives with broader leadership development strategy

  • Partner with coaching and leadership development roles to ensure integrated solutions

  • Support development of leaders’ ability to lead through complexity and change

  • Use data (engagement, performance, talent metrics) to inform interventions

  • Evaluate effectiveness of OD initiatives and recommend adjustments based on OD/OE best practices

  • Communicate insights and outcomes to senior stakeholders

  • Travel up to 40% for business needs

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience in organizational development, consulting, or change management

  • 5+ years of facilitation experience

  • 1+ years of experience developing presentations for and presenting to executive leadership

  • 1+ years of experience driving change adoption within a complex organization

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Organizational Development, Psychology, Business, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in the Learning and Development profession

  • Experience in large, complex organizations undergoing transformation

  • Experience in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, Kotter, Blanchard or similar)

  • Experience facilitating leadership offsites and strategic planning sessions

Pay & Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $151,300 - $218,500
