The Boeing Company is looking for a Programmer Analyst (Mid-Level or Senior) to join the team in Seattle, WA; Long Beach, CA; Seal Beach, CA; Mesa, AZ; Hazelwood, MO or Berkeley, MO.  

The Information Technology and Data Analytics Organization is seeking a highly performing, versatile specialist to join the Engineering and Product Support team. This organization supports and provides comprehensive software solutions used to develop and deploy highly optimized authoring and delivery of Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) for complex military platforms. A successful candidate will assist with the development, maintenance, and support of the Intelligent Graphics technology applications. A qualified applicant will be able to work independently as a developer and function effectively in a complex and varied domain. Primary support is to the Multiple Defense Airplane Program with growth opportunities to support additional customers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Developing, documenting and maintaining architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems

  • Developing and maintaining code and integrating software components into a fully functional software system

  • Developing, selecting, and deploying processes, tools and metrics

  • Planning, executing and documenting software projects

  • Troubleshooting and investigating problems across software components

  • Providing expertise in software methodologies and processes to internal/external customers

  • Supporting operational and integration issue resolution

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with Object Oriented Programming (C#, Swift, ObjC, C++)

  • Experience with Software Engineering principles including, but not limited to Software Configuration Management, Software Architecture and Design, and Software Life Cycle Management

  • Experience building processes that support data transformation, data structures, metadata in an industry setting

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or related work or military experience

  • Experience with (C++, Java, Perl)

  • Experience with Regression Testing

  • Experience with geometry, vector graphic Conjugate Gradient Method (CGM), Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG), and algorithm development

  • Experience with electrical schematics and system schematics style technical drawings

  • Experience with strong communication skills, along with expertise in analytical thinking and problem-solving

  • Experience with written and verbal communication to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range Level 3: $93,500 - $135,700

Summary pay range Level 4: $113,900 - $164,450
