Job Description Summary:

Boeing Test & Evaluation is seeking a Senior Air Refueling Operator to join our team in Seattle, Washington.

This position will facilitate product improvements, evaluate system upgrades regarding air refueling systems, operational techniques, design improvements, Air Refueling Operator (ARO)/Remote Air Refueling Operator (RARO) ergonomics, and human factors.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Acts as part of an integrated team to ensure safe and efficient operation of the aircraft

  • Performs ground and flight duties

  • Compiles technical data to review air refueling data applicable to planned receiver aircraft or planned test conditions

  • Prepares documents for review by higher level specialist

  • Performs ground and flight duties as they pertain to Acceptance Check Flight (ACF), Functional Check Flight (FCF)

  • Work under general direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Associate’s degree or higher

  • Current FAA Class II medical certificate or the ability to obtain one

  • Experience with USAF aircraft ground/flight test procedures

  • 4+ years of experience as an air refueling operator

  • 4+ years of experience as an aircrew instructor

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Current and qualified as an air refueling operator in the KC-46A

  • 1+ years of experience working with KC-46 or 767 Products

  • 10+ years of experience as an air refueling operator

  • 5+ years of experience as an aircrew instructor

Summary pay range: $142,800 - $193,200
