Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a SeniorBusiness Operations Specialist supporting the Commercial Business & Program Management(CB&PM) team within the Commercial Training Solutions (CTS) organization. This position will be in Seattle, WA and will be onsite to support customer requirements.

CTS provides industry leadership in aerospace performance and enhancing overall operator safety by delivering new evidence-based training programs, new digital solutions, and monitoring aviation safety worldwide. As a Sr. Bus Ops Specialist for CB&PM, you will provide bus ops support to the teams that are developing and delivering the foundation for CTS’s future learning ecosystem that will modernize learning, as well as supporting the Global Aerospace Safety (GAS) initiative.   

In this position, you will successfully lead and support the development and execution of CB&PM’s management system, which includes overall strategy, processes, communications, operating rhythm, metrics, quality improvements, integration, compliance, and operational excellence.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Guides and facilitates the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals.

  • Leads the analysis, execution, and continuous improvement of the management system.

  • Facilitates effective structured process for top-down and bottom-up data calls with appropriate stakeholders, leveraging current process methods and tools while maintaining a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Forges a strategic relationship and integrates with domestic and internationally based matrixed leaders to communicate priorities and drive implementation of initiatives.

  • Interprets data and creates and presents analysis and recommendations to leadership, including metrics reporting.

  • Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case.

  • Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support decision makers and team members.

  • Leads special projects and ensures coordination, implementation, and execution are successful on behalf of leadership.

  • Ensures follow up action for issue resolution.

  • Fosters effective working relationships and is embedded into the business.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • 3+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership

  • 3+ years of experience working across organizations and cross-functional groups to ensure project coordination, implementation and completion

  • 3+ years of experience in developing and reporting performance metrics

  • Experience leading projects that require integration across business units and/or multiple functions

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

  • Highly flexible, adaptable, and resilient

  • Fosters effective working relationships and is embedded into the business.

  • Highly intuitive and proactive in anticipating others’ needs

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • work well with various personality types and receptive to feedback

  • Knowledge of aviation training programs

  • Experience with data visualization tools

Pay & Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $115,600 – $156,400
