Boeing Global Services (BGS) Commercial Sales & Marketing is seeking a SeniorBusiness Operations Specialist to support the Cabin, Modifications, and Maintenance Sales & Marketing portfolio located in Seattle, Washington or Arlington, Virginia.

The individual selected for this role will partner closely with executive leadership, have the opportunity to collaborate across P&Ls in support of overarching Commercial Sales & Marketing goals, lead the execution of the organization management system, assist completion of data calls and actions aligned to executive priorities and initiatives, ensure adherence to business partner commitments, and support Sales & Marketing continuous improvement and Functional Excellence maturity.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Operationalize, implement and integrate program business requirements
  • Guide and facilitate the development and integration of plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals
  • Coordinate and clarify analysis with business partners to validate results and determine scope to meet long range business goals
  • Coordinate commitments with internal and external organizations for large scale complex plans to fulfill the broad level strategies and ensure organizational alignment
  • Identify risk and opportunity potential, develop mitigation planning and refines the business case
  • Present plans to executive leadership to gain approval and provide implementation direction once approved
  • Establish overall management system construct by utilizing the Program Management Best Practices
  • Utilize the management systems, processes, and data analytics to provide insights on performance to committed plans
  • Support leaders in various executive and team meetings (internal/external) by ensuring artifacts and agenda required are prepared/approved, meetings are running efficiently, and actions are tracked to completion
  • Utilize data analytics to forecast performance to committed plans and consult with leaders on strategic opportunities
  • Ensure follow up action for issue resolution
  • Represent executive management to internal and external business interests in areas such as communicating business policy, strategy and direction
  • Assist in task management and provides expert business advice to enable a more efficient use of executive resources
  • Ability to define the project, design/plan the project, manage the project team, and overall project execution
  • Ability to control and deliver project deliverables and optimize the contribution of the people involved
  • Develop and use collaborative relationships within and outside the organization to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals and is embedded into the business
  • Develop business acumen and knowledge of policies, practices, trends, and information affecting the business and organization
  • Ability to understand the big picture and the interrelationships of and impacts to all positions and activities in the system
  • Provide coaching and guidance to less experienced personnel

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
  • Experience with developing and delivering presentations to senior and executive leadership, using Smart Brevity
  • Experience in interpreting data and presenting analysis and recommendations to senior leadership and executive leadership
  • Experience developing and reporting performance metrics
  • Highly flexible, adaptable, and resilient
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • 5+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Anticipates customer needs and proactively take action
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high visibility, ambiguous and ever-changing environment

Pay & Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $115,600 - $156,400.
