Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Customer Finance (CF) is currently seeking a Senior Contract Management Specialist to join the team in Seattle, Washington

BCA CF is a global provider of financial solutions. Drawing on its comprehensive expertise, BCA CF ensures Boeing customers have the financing they need to purchase and take delivery of their Boeing products. Working with Boeing’s business units, BCA CF is dedicated to helping customers obtain efficient product financing, primarily in the commercial markets. In addition to financing, BCA CF manages a portfolio of aircraft consisting of a variety of models and vintages, which are operated by customers around the world. To manage the needs of these aircraft, the BCA CF Contracts Team also partners with the BCA CF Technical Team to procure and contract for a wide range of products and services associated with aircraft and assets owned by The Boeing Company and its subsidiaries and managed by BCA CF.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity for a Senior Contract Management Specialist to get hands-on experience relating to aviation finance, portfolio management, compliance and procurement. The wide range of associated activities, transactions, and customers create a rich environment filled with opportunities to grow and learn new things on a regular basis.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead proposal preparation activities aligned to customer requirements

  • Review contract terms, interpret agreement terms and conditions, identify potential issues and making amendments/modifications as needed

  • Conduct negotiations, draft agreements and administer agreements between BCA CF and customers, ensuring adherence to Boeing company policies and procedures

  • Conduct day-to-day contract administration activities on customer contracts in accordance with Boeing organizational policies and procedures, including responding to internal and external inquiries regarding contract obligations, compliance and contractual changes

  • Lead, coordinate, and conduct regulatory filings

  • Own end-to-end procurement activities including but not limited to supplier/vendor set-ups, procuring goods and services with special emphasis on aircraft parts and maintenance, negotiating consultant and sale agreements and otherwise support BCA CF’s Technical Asset Management team and fleet of aircraft

  • Initiate and execute supplier improvement activities and integrate results into contracting strategies

  • Support compliance initiatives for BCA

  • Deliver value with speed and agility through smart and effective negotiations and networking

  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience in drafting, negotiating, and executing complex contracts and subcontracts

  • 5+ years of experience working with clients in finance, aviation, or legal/contracts fields

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Master's Degree or higher

  • 10+ years of experience in Business Operations or other finance-related fields

  • 10+ years of experience working with senior executive-level leaders, preparing reports with a high level of visibility

  • 10+ years of experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills

  • Experience in the deployment and administration of policies, procedures, and processes

  • Experience with new system implementation software

  • Experience with financial systems/applications

  • Experience with compilation and aggregation in Excel

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $146,200 – $197,800
