The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Product Specialist to join the team in Seattle, WA; Everett, WA; or Kent, WA.

Boeing Next-Gen Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Platform enablement team is looking for a strategic and results-driven specialist to lead our Data Products, Cloud Platform Products, and Data Marketplace initiatives.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for these critical areas, ensuring that our offerings meet customer needs and drive business value. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance our cloud capabilities and data services.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for data products, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and customer needs

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, marketing, and sales, to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful product delivery

  • Leverage your expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to guide product development, ensuring scalability, security, and performance of data solutions

  • Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including defining product requirements, creating user stories, and overseeing development processes

  • Track project progress with technical teams, ensuring milestones are met and deliverables are on schedule

  • Prepare and present regular status reports to senior leadership, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and next steps

  • Identify and communicate red flags or potential roadblocks, facilitating timely discussions with stakeholders to address issues and mitigate risks

  • Ensure that data products adhere to industry standards and regulations, implementing best practices for data governance and security

  • Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement

  • Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand their challenges, and identify opportunities for product enhancements

  • Create comprehensive product documentation and training materials to support internal teams and customers

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with technical product management

  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management, Configuration Management and/or Data Management and processing

  • 3+ years of experience with data engineering and data pipelines for On-Prem cloud, hybrid data models and data warehouses

  • 3+ years of experience with Data Warehouses, data processing (Extract-Transform-Load / Extract-Load-Transform) and data management

  • Experience building platforms and data products

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or related military work experience

  • Experience with evaluating, learning, and integrating new tools and processes

  • Experience with prioritizing and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously

  • Experience with analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making

  • Experience with communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders

Pay & Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $138,550 - $187,450
