Boeing Global Services (BGS) has an exciting opportunity in the BGS Parts and Distribution Services Business Development and Strategy team for a Senior Strategy Principal (Level 5) at our Seattle, WA site.

Integral to the profitable growth of the BGS Commercial Services Parts Business, the Strategy Principal will be responsible for identifying and evaluating opportunities for growth and capability enhancement.  The successful candidate will have deep expertise in areas that include, but are not limited to, airline operations and supply chain, aircraft and airline economics, and the commercial parts market.  Additionally, the candidate must be a motivated self-starter with strong business acumen who is fueled by curiosity.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform market analysis and high-level business cases for potential new products or capabilities

  • Evaluate potential inorganic growth opportunities based on financial, operational, and strategic considerations

  • Apply project management best practices to lead integrated functional teams and business units to develop new capabilities

  • Maintain and communicate industry benchmarking data and competitor intelligence

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher, with a minimum of 10 plus years of work experience

  • 5+ years of experience developing business deals with external parties (i.e., customers, suppliers, partners)

  • 5+ years of experience in Strategy, Business Development, Corporate Development, Sales, Marketing or Supplier Management

  • 5+ year experience in commercial aviation aftermarket

  • Ability to travel to support business and team requirements (approximately 10%)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • MBA highly desired

  • Strategy or Consulting experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $160,650 - 217,350
