The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Trade Control Specialist to join our team in Seattle, WA; Arlington, VA; Auburn, WA; Berkeley, MO; Hazelwood, MO; or Ridley, Park, PA.

The ideal candidate will be an innovative problem solver, demonstrate a global mentality, and be adaptable to changing needs. This person will have a history of resilience in fast paced environments, knowledgeable of US export trade control regulations, and versatile in all forms of communication.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support Boeing’s Global Trade Controls Operations team.  Providing functional support to business partners on trade compliance matters

  • GTC Ops may include support of Boeing’s denied party screening program, framework, and standards, Human Resources activities, and Supplier Management team

  • Act as a watchlist screening escalation point for the review of potential denied party screening matches

  • Performs open-source research and due diligence, including searches in external and internal databases for transactions subject to high-risk review

  • Conduct assessments and training

  • Other tasks as needed

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in trade compliance

  • Experience performing watchlist screening and good understanding of sanctions

  • Experience using denied screening tools (e.g., set lists, resolve matches)

  • Experience managing large projects

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with Export Administration Regulations (EAR) & International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)

  • 5+ years of project management experience

  • 3+ years of experience with Lean

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $108,800-$157,550
