The Boeing Global Service Training and Simulation Digital Services (T&SDS) team is looking for a support specialist to integrate, manage and monitor the lifecycle support of our Boeing Simulator products and services, as well as providing execution support for the organization. The individual will support engineering data coordination and distribution. Establishes support requirements, technical objectives, definitions, and statement of work break-down and fulfillment in accordance with contract requirements. Coordinates and gathers data in support of proposal activities. Develop processes and coordinates activities to ensure technical data and procedures are documented and optimized. Conduct presentations, status reviews, and monitors execution of support programs. Reviews program and engineering change proposals and assesses product support impact.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at the Seattle, WA facility.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support Data Delivery needs to customers

  • Support Export Compliance

  • Support the delivery and export of simulator data in accordance with contract terms with suppliers and external customers.

  • Assist customers with their My Boeing Fleet needs, providing expert guidance and support.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including GTC and BCA, to ensure alignment of data delivery requirements.

  • Facilitate the creation and management of contracts related to simulator data delivery.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in data delivery processes.

  • Developments, analysis, collections, storing, and reviewing of system support technical data elements and specification and makes recommendations.

  • Provides recommendations on product supportability and establishes operational maintenance tasks, resources, and support systems to achieve stable requirements for all platforms providing deliverables.

  • Completes provisioning requirements analysis of data documentation needs for multiple customers and contract types.

  • Work closely with all applicable functions and other program product teams to ensure necessary people/skills, facility and information technology resources to execute statement of work according to cost and schedule commitments

  • Work with applicable subject matter experts to define Integrated Logistics Support technical approaches and ensure adherence to applicable engineering standards and processes

  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in the development of Integrated Logistics Support solutions

  • Works with supplier management to organize support contractual requirements to ensure obligations are being met.

  • Assisting with maintenance and oversite of various reporting tools.

  • Work on customer requests as needed and to completion.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 4 years business operations and support planning experience in a technical field

  • Experience dealing with and solving airline customer questions and issues.

  • Experience working with industry service documents for commercial airplanes such as Service Letters, Service Bulletins, or Maintenance Manuals.

  • Experience identifying and extracting technical documentation airplane systems requirements to support flight training simulator requirements.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.

  • Experience working with My Boeing Fleet or similar aviation management systems.

  • Knowledge of Boeing’s internal processes and systems.

  • Previous experience in a customer support role within the aviation industry.

  • Experience with project and program management tools such as Project and Milestones

  • Technical writing experience

  • Customer support experience

Typical Education & Experience:

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.  Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

This position is for the first shift.

Summary pay range:              79,900 – 108,100
