Job Description:

We are seeking a Field Service Representative (FSR) for Seoul Gimpo Airport to support an airline customer in South Korea. The FSR will provide both on-site and remote technical support and act as Boeing’s local representative, working directly with airline personnel and demonstrating adaptability to diverse cultural environments. Candidates should have experience in flexible, fast-paced settings that require prompt responses to ad-hoc customer requests. Strong technical and interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to prioritize and manage workload independently with minimal supervision are essential. The role also requires flexibility to work long hours (including evenings and weekends), demonstrated leadership and teamwork in diverse groups, and proficiency with digital tools to host online meetings across time zones.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology or FAA Airframe & Powerplant license are required 

  • 5+ years of experience in the aviation industry

  • Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial airline technical operations

  • 5+ years of experience in the aviation industry preferably with Boeing models

  • Experience with customer support

  • Experience with aerospace hardware or software in a technical capacity, preferably in an Original Equipment Manufacturer role (research, design, production, support, etc)

  • Demonstrated cultural awareness and emotional intelligence, with the ability to adapt and effectively conduct business across diverse countries, cultures, languages, and airline environments.

  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot technical issues on aircraft

  • Experience working under pressure in fast-paced environments with strict deadlines

  • Experience interacting with all levels of airline management on technical and operation issues

  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills

  • Multilingual skills, particularly Korean language

Location:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Boeing Gimpo office and the listed location site.

Travel:

Some travel may be required, up to 10% of the time.

Other Job-related Information:

This requisition is for a locally hired position. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and not on Boeing US-based payroll.
