About the Team (Boeing Global Services)

Global Services leads the way in aftermarket support, data analytics, and digital solutions. The team focuses on driving growth by selling Boeing's portfolio of commercial services—including digital aviation solutions, flight training, spare parts, and maintenance modifications—to Chinese airline customers and aviation partners.

We are seeking a motivated intern to join our Sales & Marketing team in China. This internship is designed for 1 month as a learning and development opportunity for students to gain practical experience related to their academic studies.

Position Overview

This internship offers a unique chance for students to gain hands-on experience in the aviation services industry by supporting the Sales & Marketing function. The role emphasizes learning through various practical activities, with no formal employment or labor contract established. The internship will primarily involve supporting the company’s participation in key regional conferences or workshops.

Target internship period: 2026 Summer Vacation

Key Responsibilities

Support Event Planning & Execution :

  • Assist in the end-to-end logistical planning for Boeing’s presence at the industrial conference or workshop.

  • Coordinate with vendors, venues, and internal stakeholders regarding booth setup, branding materials, and giveaways.

  • Help manage guest invitations, VIP customer lists, and meeting schedules for Boeing executives attending the event.

  • Provide on-site support during the conference, ensuring a professional and engaging Boeing presence.

Assist and Practice Market Research & Analysis:

  • Conduct research on the Chinese aviation aftermarket, identifying trends in airline fleet growth, maintenance needs, and digital transformation. Analyze competitor activities within the Greater China region as part of the learning activities.

Sales Support:

  • Assist the account teams in preparing customer-facing materials, including presentations, capability briefings, and proposal packages tailored for local carriers.

Marketing Coordination:

  • Support the localization of global marketing for the China market.

Data Management:

  • Learn to maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) data, tracking sales leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.

Organization Learning :

  • Participate Boeing China orientations

  • Participate Boeing China cross functional introduction to learn about industry development and different functions/roles in the organization

Basic Qualifications

  • Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program (graduating December 2026 or later).

  • With the fields of study including but limited to: Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management, Economics, International Trade, or Aviation Management.

  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (Native or professional working proficiency).

  • High proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) to communicate effectively with global teams and review documents.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Passion for the aviation or aerospace industry.

  • Previous internship experience in a multinational corporation (MNC), particularly in sales, marketing, or business development.

  • Basic understanding of data analysis or CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Tableau) is a plus.

  • Strong cross-cultural communication skills and the ability to work in a diverse team environment.
