Position Overview

We are looking for an Airline Training Project Manager (non-management)  to join our team in Singapore.

This role in an integral part of the Boeing Airline Training Programs team and support airline implementing the Boeing Competency Based Training & Assessment (CBTA) program.

The main responsibility is to work with other allocated team members and to track customer airlines progress, create, manage oversee, and report on a project management plan to ensure the successful implementation of the Boeing CBTA program. This will be through defined project and management processes and procedures to ensure the successful delivery of the CBTA Deployment objectives. All allocated airline CBTA Deployment activities are planned, overseen and reported by this role.

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain an excellent understanding of the Boeing training program requirements, implementation processes, courseware, contracts and deliverables.

  • Support airlines adopting Boeing airline training programs such as Competency Based Training and has the responsibility to support assigned customer airlines implementing Boeing programs.

  • Ensure the successful delivery of the agreed training program to meet contractual objectivesthrough defined project and management processes and procedures.

  • Be an excellent communicator, with a demonstrable ability to communicate across an organization, management structure and interact at all levels.

  • Capable of understanding, interpreting, and making recommendations to airline training programs and coordinating a gap analysis to align the airline with the Boeing program goals and objectives.

  • Demonstrable and proven excellent team working skills.

  • Demonstrate Boeing Values and Behaviors.

  • This role will be expected to travel up to 50% of the time.

Basic Qualification:

  • Extensive project management experience.

  • Knowledge of change management methodologies.

  • Understanding of airline pilot training programs.

  • Good problem-solving ability.

  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Corporate Governance and Risk Management.

  • To indicate and identify any deployment deficiencies or team poor performance that is likely to impact adherence to schedule or KPIs.

  • To ensure that shortfalls of resources or deficiencies of standard are highlighted, without delay.

  • Raise concerns with adherence to schedule or KPIs without delay

  • Ability to communicate at all levels.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships at all levels

  • Ability to be self-motivated and drive success by producing outputs, managing tasks, meeting timescales and pursuing goals.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Jira and any other systems used by Boeing.

  • Ability to articulate in English and ideally Mandarin information clearly, written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Ideally in a airline or aviation environment.

  • This vacancy is for an international, locally hired position in Singapore.

  • Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
