At Boeing, we innovate and collaborate to make the world a better place. We’re committed to fostering an environment for every teammate that’s welcoming, respectful and inclusive, with great opportunity for professional growth. Find your future with us.

Position Overview:

The Digital Content & Social Media Strategist for Asia‑Pacific is a regional member of Boeing’s global social media team responsible for developing and executing social media strategy, content and performance measurement across Southeast Asia, Japan, South Korea and Australia. This is an on‑site role that partners with regional communications leads and internal stakeholders to drive audience engagement, support regional campaigns and events, and produce high‑quality digital content tailored to diverse markets across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute regional social media strategy and channel plans aligned with business and communications objectives.

  • Plan, create, shoot and edit original multimedia content (photo and video) for social platforms; edit video using Adobe Premiere and produce social‑ready visuals using basic graphic design tools.

  • Publish and optimize content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube and regionally relevant platforms), ensuring brand consistency and platform‑appropriate tone. Use social planning and collaboration tools to coordinate content calendars and approvals across teams.

  • Monitor social conversations and audience activity; identify engagement and amplification opportunities; coordinate timely, approved responses with communications partners.

  • Work closely with regional communicators, sales communications, media relations and internal communications to align paid, earned, shared and owned messaging.

  • Support regional websites by coordinating content updates, providing social‑ready assets, and ensuring web and social messaging are consistent and culturally relevant across markets.

  • Support internal communications and regional events as needed — including on‑the‑ground content capture, live coverage, and internal stakeholder coordination.

  • Track, analyze and report on social performance using analytics tools; translate insights into recommendations to optimize content and campaign outcomes.

  • Act as a regional subject matter expert on local cultural nuances, platform behaviors and audience preferences; adapt creative approaches for market relevance.

  • Contribute to team best practices, playbooks and process improvements; collaborate with global social team to share learnings and implement standardized approaches.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in social media strategy and execution in a corporate or agency environment with responsibility for multi‑market or regional programs.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.

  • Experience working across APAC markets, with demonstrated cultural awareness for this region.

  • Strong content creation skills: comfortable operating a camera, shooting photo and video, and producing/editing content for social platforms. Proficient with Adobe Premiere for video editing.

  • Basic graphic design skills to create social visuals (Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar).

  • Deep knowledge of social platforms and their native best practices for audience growth and engagement (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and market‑specific platforms where applicable).

  • Experience planning and executing content for culturally diverse markets and adapting messaging for local audiences.

  • Strong analytical skills: ability to interpret social data and convert insights into actionable recommendations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to craft platform‑appropriate copy and to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

  • Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, cross‑functional team; ability to pivot when regional priorities require agility.

  • Committed to working from the office.
