The Boeing Materials & transportation team is seeking Entry-Level Shipping, Receiving, and Warehouse Specialist to join the team in Smithfield, PA or Lemont Furnace, PA. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process incoming packages using MS Access and Deltek Costpoint

  • Put accepted stock away into the warehouse using Costpoint and RFgen software

  • Manage inventory using company to include cycle counts, location transfers, kitting and issuing parts for production builds

  • Contribute to maintaining a safe work environment (5S, tool control, PPE)

  • Candidate will be expected to operate a forklift and drive company owned vehicles to transport material between production site. Must also be willing and able to operate a 26 ft box truck (no CDL required)

  • Package and ship finished and/or vendor return parts and materials. Packaging may involve use of common hand and power tools and following a specific work instruction to perform the work

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Experience working with various material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and cranes.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, shipping or customer service environment.

  • Experience working with Microsoft Outlook

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in receiving, storing, picking, and shipping processes.

  • Experience operating forklifts (under 15,000-lb. lift capacity) or related equipment.

  • Experience working with inventory control software.

  • Experience in kitting and cycle-counting.

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Applications.

  • Experience with Excel

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high school diploma/GED).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $31,200 - $48,000
