Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Methods Process Analyst to support the Electrical Mechanical Integration Center (EMIC) in Tukwila, WA. In this role the Methods Process Analyst will partner with operations and support teams to assemble, modify, test and deliver Mechanical Assemblies, Electrical Assemblies, Sub-Assemblies, Wire Bundles and Labs for programs across the BDS Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers portfolio. With primary duties focused on executing committed work statements and optimizing the production system, there may be additional duties to include strategic studies, capability and capacity planning, estimating, budgeting and forecasting, capital asset management, proposal development, work transfer and coordinating with internal customers and program management.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Analyze manufacturing bill of material and statement of work to fully understand the statement of work

  • Develop detailed production schedules and drive shop execution to plan

  • Perform cost and schedule performance analysis. Present KPIs, analysis and recommendations to EMIC and program senior managers

  • Develop production labor hours, staffing and overtime forecasts

  • Develop recovery plans to get behind schedule work realigned to master schedule

  • Perform root cause analysis to determine the underlying source of constraints within the production system

  • Work with support teams to break constraints and ensure healthy level of WIP and workable work is released to shop

  • Assess the impact of engineering changes

  • Lead and manage projects to improve workflow for efficiency and quality, improve processes and optimize production system

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 or more years’ experience working in engineering, manufacturing & production, supply chain & logistics, business operations or scheduling environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in a fabrication and/or assembly production environment

  • Experience with production scheduling

  • Proficient with Aurora scheduling and planning software

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Experience developing time standards and performing work sampling

  • Experience with data visualization or analytical tools

Summary Pay Range: $66,300 - $89,700
