Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Mid-Level Provisioning Analyst to support our Derivative Logistics Team in Tukwila, WA.

The Seattle Derivative Logistics Team supports multiple Derivative programs in the Puget Sound region, which are dynamic, fast paced franchise programs that are in the middle stages of fleet engineering, modification & development moving toward an on-going sustaining support.

Provisioning (Parts Data) is the management process for determining and acquiring the range and quantity of support items necessary to operate and maintain an end item derivative aircraft. Its documentation is the analysis of engineering source data documents used to identify, recommend, and determine spare and repair part requirements. It provides the customer with the analytical decisions that enable the identification of affordable inventory requirements, and provides sparing recommendations to our customers. It impacts several supportability efforts which must be in place upon delivery of the aircraft as well as life cycle demands.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Analyze engineering drawings, published maintenance tasks and other technical data and publications to derive applicable spares.

  • Maintain the aircraft spares configuration in an electronic form using the SLICWave logistics application.

  • Work with internal teams in the development, publication and release of the contract deliverables which recommend sparing plans to our derivative program customers.

  • Contribute technical support to the customer through provisioning work sessions and formal inquiry responses.

  • Contribute to formal proposals to the customer for spares support

  • Contribute to the capture of quality measures and metrics for the team, and engage in on-going root-cause analysis and process improvement.

  • Some travel required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, maintenance manuals and other technical publications

  • Microsoft Excel

  • Experience with provisioning and the use of a logistics database or logistics software application.

  • Can operate independently with minimal supervision for routine work

Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working in the SLICWave logistics database

  • Bachelor degree or higher in related field

  • 5 or more years of experience with provisioning or related experience

  • Experience working with or supporting commercial derivative aircraft or military aircraft

Summary pay range: $82,450 - $111,550

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
