The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Product Data Management Specialist (Data Management – Engineering) to support engineering, business and other data/deliverables for the P-8 Program. This BDS position reports to the P-8 Data Management Team as part of the Systems Engineering and Integration Team. This position will be 100% onsite in Tukwila, WA.

The P-8 is a high-visibility, advanced commercial derivative military aircraft program supporting the U.S. Navy and international customers. As a Product Data Management Specialist, you will regularly be working and interacting with the program teams, other divisions, various customers and/or suppliers.   

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation, review, validation and release of contract deliverables and internal data (SDRLS/CDRLs/other data) in support of the various program teams. The data supports multiple disciplines, teams, suppliers and/or customers.
  • Verify/support completed data deliveries and follow on actions.
  • Perform non-technical checks of engineering/other data to verify that the data meets requirements.
  • Assist in reconciling discrepancies by coordinating with affected organizations including suppliers and/or customers.
  • Manage and configuration control program data utilizing the Windchill Tool, the Customer and Supplier Data Transmittal (CSDT) Tool, and other tools. 
  • Interpret contractual data requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain delivery schedules for contractual/other program data.


This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Associate degree
  • Level 2: 1+ years of related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Level 3: 3+ years of related work experience.
  • Level 4: 5+ years of related work experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams, program leadership, customers, and suppliers in support of contract deliverables, internal data and product delivery.
  • Experience in the use of Windchill, CSDT and/or other similar tools for managing, processing or releasing data in support of contract deliverables, internal needs and product delivery.
  • Knowledge of data rights and data rights marking.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Pay Summary:

Level 2: $77,350-$104,650

Level 3: $96,050-$129,950

Level 4: $119,850-$162,150
