The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior KC-46 Fleet Reliability Systems Engineer to support the Boeing Global Services (BGS) KC-46 SEIT Team in Tukwila, Washington or Everett, Washington. The successful candidate will provide senior reliability and maintainability engineering expertise for the growing KC-46 fleet including both domestic and international customers. The BGS KC-46 program is growing quickly - this is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of KC-46 sustainment.

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Utilizes customer fleet data to provide trends and analysis of in-service failures and removals
  • Acts as the focal/source of all KC-46 program reliability data
  • Partners with inter-organizational teams to identify opportunities and potential solutions for reliability improvement projects which can be communicated to program leadership and customers
  • Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
  • Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
  • Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
  • Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
  • Develops, maintains and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
  • Resolves cross-functional technical issues
  • Supports occasional travel (<10% of time)

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):   

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • 9+ years of experience gathering, preparing and analyzing technical data for the development support products including logistics engineering, logistics support analysis, technical publications, support equipment, spares, provisioning, field services, maintenance, etc., supporting product lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with aircraft system health and component reliability
  • Experience with military derivative platforms and systems
  • Experience with KC-46 or 767 product line
  • Experience analyzing maintenance and component failure data

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary Pay Range: $128,350 - $173,650
