Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently looking for a Senior Logistics Support Representative (LSR) to provide in-the-field technical support for the QF-16 Full-Scale Aerial Target (FSAT) operations at Tyndall Air Force Base (AFB), Florida.  

The LSR will be responsible for managing logistics, procurement of support equipment, and ensuring the timely delivery of parts and materials to support the operational readiness of the QF-16 aircraft. This role is critical in maintaining the fielded QF-16 aircraft and supporting the overall mission of the QF-16 System Program Office (SPO).

You are applying for a Field Operations position where our employees must be willing and able (potentially short notice) to travel to a variety of locations (domestic and/or international) to meet our customers’ unique requirements.

Field Operations employees may be required to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer and/or management requirements.

Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment.

Position Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

  • Provide QF-16 FSAT system technical expertise and consultation to users and the QF-16 SPO regarding operational issues and concerns.

  • Investigate and respond to questions and concerns from the QF-16 SPO and user community at Tyndall AFB and Holloman AFB.

Logistics Management:

  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive Property System of Record to track, control, and account for all materials associated with QF-16 FSAT operations.

  • Implement procedures for the identification and classification of materials, ensuring accurate records of material status, location, and usage.

Procurement and Inventory:

  • Manage the logistics of material transportation, including shipping and receiving of parts and equipment between Tyndall AFB, FL and Holloman AFB, NM and designated repair facilities.

  • Provide on-site management of DPE inventory, including storage, issue, and turn-in of DPE spares in support of the deployed QF-16 FSAT system.

Field Operations Support:

  • Provide in-the-field technical support to investigate and troubleshoot problems associated with the deployed QF-16 FSAT aircraft, its components, and airborne/PSE software.

  • Support acceptance flight testing and modifications, as well as repairs and modifications of PSE.

Reporting and Compliance:

  • Conduct regular audits of material inventory within the Property System of Record to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with inventory management protocols.

  • Prepare and submit monthly reports detailing material management activities, including inventory levels and requisition status.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Participate in QF-16 FSAT meetings with the Government and coordinate with the Contractor's QF-16 FSAT Program Manager.

  • Maintain effective communication with engineering and logistics personnel to assist with troubleshooting and coordination of repairs.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in Logistics Services.

  • Experience and understanding of the Logistics Services QMS.

  • At the sole discretion of leadership, employees must be willing and able (on potentially short notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs. Failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.

  • At the sole discretion of leadership, employees must be willing and able to relocate to a variety of locations (domestic and international) to meet customer needs and the statement of work. Failure to relocate will be considered as a resignation.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $86,700 - $117,300.
