Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. is currently seeking an Enterprise Culture & Engagement Intern, to join our globally dispersed culture and engagement team. This internship is an 4,8 or 12-month opportunity working on day shift. 

The Global Employee Experience organization designs and delivers programs that create a collaborative, high‑performing workplace across Boeing, supporting culture transformation globally. Within this enterprise function, the Enterprise Culture & Engagement regional team translates global strategy into locally relevant programs, events, and experiences that strengthen connection, recognition, and well‑being for employees globally.

We are looking for current Human Resources post-secondary students who are interested in working side-by-side with experienced business professionals. Our student Interns are given a unique experience as they learn the ropes and attain newfound competencies. Interns are exposed to on-the-job business challenges as they work through tasks in a team setting. They have the opportunity to participate in training and to work on special projects. Representative Major Tasks:

  • Support planning, coordination and execution of culture and engagement programs (recognition, surveys, employee listening, virtual and in-person events) for Canadian and US audiences.

  • Draft and publish internal communications (emails, intranet posts, newsletters) tailored to local audiences and time zones.

  • Assist with engagement measurement: assist with employee listening sessions to collect feedback, analyze participation metrics, and create concise summary reports and recommendations.

  • Support onboarding and employee experience touchpoints, including new-hire connection activities that reinforce culture and engagement.

  • Coordinate with key team members to help align priorities and key activities.

  • Maintain program trackers, calendars, and documentation to ensure consistent execution across regions.

  • Supporting a project to create awareness and alignment identifying culture resources and networks across the enterprise.

  • Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives related to Culture & Engagement.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Winnipeg, MB.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student with an accredited university or college.

  • Must have intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (i.e. Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Must be legally able to work in Canada.

  • Must be able to travel within Canada, and the United States Regions.

  • Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding controlled goods.

  • Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Prefer previous internship experience.

  • Exposure to Human resources within a manufacturing environment.

Education/Experience:

*Graduates are ineligible unless continuing in post graduate studies.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada.  Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.
