The Opportunity

Business Support for MQ-28 Director and Senior Leader at BDA: We are seeking a talented Business Support Assistant to support the Directors within the MQ-28 Program of Boeing Defence Australia and other Senior Leaders.

Reporting to the MQ-28 Director, this role will provide support to the Business Unit Director plus the Program Senior Leadership Team and will be responsible for co-ordination, organization and management of the team to enable BDA senior leadership to be effective and efficient.

Experience/Qualifications

To be successful in this position you will have demonstrated:

  • Strong relationship management
  • Well-developed organizational skills
  • Professional presentation in communication with external stakeholders and customers
  • Effective communication (verbal and written) including business (e.g. finance, people, strategy) and technical (e.g. engineering, information technology).
  • Proficiency in using technology and contemporary systems to support work practices and organisation.
  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.

Duties of the role include:

  • Coordination and processing of domestic and international business travel arrangements, monitoring designated business traveler's logistics, generation of expense reports and assisting in reconciling corporate credit card charges to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement and verifies payments to corporate credit cards
  • Management of calendar events and prioritization of executive schedules and events
  • Processing of incoming and outgoing communication and correspondence to ensure proper dissemination of information
  • Assist in the preparation, formatting, and proofreading of essential documents, ensuring they meet organizational standards
  • Proactively assess administrative processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement
  • Recommend and implement value-added activities that enhance team operations and efficiency
  • Planning and implementing logistics for executive level internal and external events
