Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a PAG (Presidential Air Group)Experienced Field Service Representative to provide technical support and on-site company representation at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland.

You are applying for a Field Operations position where our employees must be willing and able (potentially short notice) to travel to a variety of locations (domestic and/or international) to meet the needs of our customers.

Field Operations employees may be required to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer needs and/or management requirements.

Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Utilize multi-disciplined technical expertise and company knowledge to assist the customer.
  • Maintain accurate tracking of Boeing or Government owned assets in support of a Proprietary system. Required to lead Physical Inventory Efforts.
  • Coordinate shipment, receipt and repair of assets with Logistics Representatives.
  • Sustain a high level of proficiency in the operation and maintenance of company products by investigating technical problems, determining causes, and developing/implementing corrective actions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Understand customer expectations and assist the customer in interpreting and using support data and documents and provide technical on-the-job training.
  • Act as the on-site liaison between the company and customer personnel of widely varying backgrounds to gain resolution of significant technical and operational issues.
  • Provides guidance, consultation, and training to customers related to a broad range of technical and operational issues. Conducts on site in-depth research of company and customer data to drive resolution of specific chronic issues.
  • Conducts root-cause analysis on customer and company fleet data to identify/evaluate trends and opportunities to increase dispatch reliability. Validates or reviews effectiveness of existing solutions, and then develops corrective, proactive, and/or preventative action plans.
  • Work unsupervised for extended periods of time in a wide variety of cultural/economic conditions.
  • Interpret technical documents and monitor product performance. Develop and conduct ad hoc training on various maintenance topics.
  • Analyze technical data and evaluate maintenance procedures.
  • Requires the ability to work independently in a demanding, on-call, 24 hours per day / 365 days per year operational environment.
  • Develop action plans for aircraft in unusually difficult AOG situations, whereby Service Engineering and/or executive leaders solicit FSR assistance.
  • Tracks progress of troubleshooting plans and maintains company and customer situational awareness. Conducts follow-up with the customer to ensure solution provided was effective and lasting.
  • Travel to other US and foreign operating locations to assist with the customer's mission and maintenance demands as well as the craft.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum 5 years of experience of Field Service and/or Military Aircraft Support Equipment
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting operations or maintenance of executive fleet aircraft including C-32A, C-40B/C and VC-25A aircraft
  • Active FAA A&P License is required
  • Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime including rotating shifts
  • At the sole discretion of leadership, employees must be willing and able (potentially on short notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs. Failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation. 
  • At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able to relocate to a variety of locations (domestic and international) to meet customer needs and the statement of work.  Failure to relocate will be considered as a resignation. 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Previous experience working on PAG (Presidential Air Group) military aircraft such as C40, C32 or VC25 is desirable.

This position is for 2nd/variable shift.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $86,700 - $117,300.
