Boeing India IDT&S has an immediate opening for Lead Product Specialist (Product Management) to Lead & strategize multiple safety applications by working along with business stakeholders & internally working with development team for the release plan.  In this role, you will be responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for these critical areas, ensuring that our offerings meet customer needs and drive business value. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance our cloud capabilities and data services.


This role will be based out of Bangalore, India


Position Responsibilities:


Product Strategy & Vision: Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for safety applications, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and customer needs.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business team, to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful product delivery.
Product Development Lifecycle: Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including defining product requirements, creating user stories, and overseeing development processes.


Project Management : 

  • Track project progress with technical teams, ensuring milestones are met and deliverables are on schedule.
  • Prepare and present regular status reports to senior leadership, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and next steps.
  • Proactively identify and communicate red flags or potential roadblocks, facilitating timely discussions with stakeholders to address issues and mitigate risks.
  • Data Governance & Compliance: Ensure the right security is in place for ITAR/sensitive data not accessible for non-US persons and regulations, implementing best practices for data governance and security.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 12+ years of product management experience 
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, with a focus on Safety applications
  • Strong understanding of Safety domain
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with SAFe agile development methodologies and tools (e.g. ADO).
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to learn and adopt new tools and processes. 
  • Develop and maintain relationships / partnerships with customers, collaborators, peers, and partners to develop collaborative plans and complete projects.
  • Proactively seek information and direction to successfully complete the statement of work.
  • Must be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with team members across different cultures and time-zones
  • Demonstrate strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Be fluent in written and spoken English, and have high degree of proficiency with MS Office tools to prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, proposals, and Statements of Work.
  • Must have experience leading teams and have the ability to mentor and teach juniors and partners to accomplish project and departmental goals and objectives.

Typical Education & Experience:

  • Typically, 12 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
