The Air DominanceBusiness Development & Strategy Executive Assistant position is a developmental opportunity to work directly with the Air Dominance(AD)Vice President of Business Development and Strategy (BD&S), as well as senior executive members of the Air Dominance and Business Development & Strategy Leadership Teams. This position can be located in either Arlington, VA, or St Louis, MO.

This is an excellent knowledge and growth experience to gain exposure to all aspects of Business Development & Strategy as well as other functions associated with running a multi-billion-dollar sales team. You will have a strong desire for learning, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, adept at delivering results and building relationships, and be a self-starter with a track record of high performance. To be successful you will have a positive and flexible attitude, good judgment, and discretion.

The position is planned for 2 years to allow enough time to develop additional leadership skills, learn the complexities of the role, team and customer and to plan and prepare for a future assignment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the day-to-day functioning of the Air Dominance Business Development & Strategy Front Office.
  • Supports AD Business Development & Strategy leadership on long-range strategies, organizational goals, objectives and initiatives.
  • Works with Air Dominance Business Development & Strategy Vice President to define and execute team operating rhythm and prepare for key meetings and visits with senior customers and stakeholders.
  • Serves as the Business Development & Strategy focal for communication and coordination between the Air Dominance Leadership Team & BD&S Leadership Team for regular deliverables, briefings, meetings and work packages as required.
  • Ensures organizational alignment with Boeing processes and compliance requirements
  • Coordinates staff meetings and Business Development & Strategy participation in Air Dominance and BDS-level leadership meetings.
  • Reviews and evaluates strategic organizational focus and priorities, identifies and recommends optimization opportunities and assists in their implementation.
  • Leads the design, logistics and facilitation of large Business Development & Strategy meetings/events; develops and consolidates executive level briefings.
  • Maintains Business Development & Strategy calendars; monitors and tracks project execution of Business Development & Strategy /AD-related plans, communicates status by leveraging agile Sales, Customer Resource Mgmt, and Project mgmt. software tools with dashboard potential.
  • Provides guidance to and solicits feedback from Business Development & Strategy working team for consolidated reporting to Business Development & Strategy Leadership, Air Dominance and BDS.
  • Participates in steering meetings and associated events to help define and achieve organizational objectives.
  • Forges relationships with counterparts across AD, BDS, other Boeing Business Units, and customer organizations.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience working with senior and/or executive management and military officials
  • 5+ years of experience working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
  • 3+ years of experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing and analyzing data
  • 3+ years of experience working with and building cross-functional teams and partnerships with multiple stakeholders within the company, engineering and test
  • 3+ years of experience preparing and delivering Microsoft PowerPoint presentations to leadership or a customer group

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Level 5: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Master’s degree or higher
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Active Secret clearance is preferred

Travel:

This position may require travel up to 25% of the time

Relocation:

Pay & Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range:

Level 4:

St Louis: $116,100 - $141,900

Arlington: $124,200 - $151,800

Level 5:

St Louis: $144,000 - $176,000

Arlington: $153,900 - $188,100
