As the Chief Autonomy Lead Software Engineer, you will lead a team in a professional environment, developing innovative approaches to enable autonomous capabilities on Boeing platforms. This role involves both in-house development and collaboration with third-party vendors. Your key responsibilities will include developing requirements and architecture for autonomous systems, designing software for autonomous aircraft, and managing a large volume of software products from various sources. • Work closely with partner organizations, such as research labs or subsidiaries, and other PW leaders to ensure Boeing is oriented to become the leader in Aerospace Defense Autonomy
  • Be familiar with flight dynamics and have some experience with hardware as it relates to sensors, embedded systems, and systems integration
  • Utilize strong soft skills related to consensus-building, communication, conflict resolution, and active listening
  • Ensure alignment between strategic and technical roadmaps
  • Identify new tools/technologies and evaluate them for implementation
  • Define, document and relentlessly improve processes related to software workflow, prioritizing simplicity and adaptability

We work in a casual but professional environment with multi-disciplined teams of engineers that take pride in developing, integrating, testing and delivering innovative solutions. There is long-term potential for career growth into technical leadership or management positions and we value the curiosity, tenacity and imagination our engineers bring to our teams each day.
