Boeing Defence Australia is delivering some of the nation's most important programs for Australian Defence. As part of the Battlespace Communications System Program, you will be part of the team who design and produce next generation Military Communications Systems. Contributing to the continued evolution of those capabilities to the Australian Defence Forces. The Opportunity

We are looking for an Integrated Planning and Scheduling Specialistto support the Battlespace Communication System (BCS) Team. BCS is a next generation networking product that is the centerpiece for multiple projects and campaigns.

We have a range of opportunities available. This role will see you applying Planning and Scheduling skills within our Project Management Team - helping enable our program leaders to deliver core product for our ADF customer.

Responsibilities

  • Create project plans and schedules to identify overall timeframe for project activities to meet the defined project objectives (to include major milestones), identify resource requirements for projects, and work within a project team to assist in management of those plans throughout the project life cycle.

Experience/Qualifications

Essential:

  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.
  • The ability to communicate and collaborate with a diverse team, in a conscientious and inclusive way.

Desirable:

  • Experience within Defence or complex engineering project environments
  • Knowledge of project planning principles and techniques.
  • Possess a working knowledge of scheduling process, data requirements and tools required to implement each methodology.
