Wheel and Brake Technician (Entry-Level, Associate, or Experienced)

Boeing Distribution Inc (BDI) has an opening for Wheel and Brake Technician (Entry-Level, Associate, or Experienced) who will execute the wheel and brake production plan and will be responsibilities to follow all safety and quality policies and insure productivity goals are met. This will require that they be available and willing to work in all areas of the shop including, but not limited to, receiving, disassemble, cleaning, painting, assemble and shipping as required. Position is located in Dallas, TX.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Entry-Level, Associate, or Experienced level Wheel and Brake Technician..

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options:  Dallas, TX,

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs simple production assembly operations , pressure testing, inspection, tagging, and shipping of various aircraft hose assemblies using various crimpers, hydraulic equipment and hand tools.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1 year of part 145 or military or auto or hydraulic mechanic experience
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Able to read and comprehend technical manuals.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A&P Certification
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Typical Education/Experience:

Entry-Level (Level A)

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high school diploma/GED). 

Associate (Level B)

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).

Experienced (Level C)

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation.  Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range for entry-level: 40,800 – 55,200

Summary pay range for associate level: 50,150 – 67,850

Summary pay range for experienced level: 56,950 – 77,050
