Boeing Global Services is seeking a Technical Sales Lead in the United Arab Emirates to join a dynamic enterprise software selling team for our global customer base in our Commercial Aviation group.

As the Technical Sales Lead, you will work closely with Sales Directors and Service leads to grow account relationships and lifetime value.  You will bring a breadth of knowledge about DAS flight deck, and flight operations applications and solution sets based on your aviation software industry experience. You can clearly articulate how these solutions and offers enhance the value proposition of our products and services to prospective customers. Working alongside the Sales Directors and Customer Success Leaders, you will play an integral role in driving the sales strategy, engaging with key stakeholders including customer key technical business decision makers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Sales Directors and Customer Success Leads in a “team of three” to strengthen relationships and grow key accounts by setting account plans and strategies, pursuing opportunities, and marshalling the resources across the organization to carry out complex enterprise sales.

  • Provide enterprise-level technical expertise throughout the sales cycle, and coordinates support if specific solution expertise or demo support is needed.

  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with Customers flight deck, flight operations, and IT departments, gaining insights into their application requirements and IT policies and strategies.

  • During sales campaigns, lead the technical discovery process with customer counterparts to understand system, security, data privacy, architecture, and integration requirements for implementation.

  • Lead the technical aspects of the business case that will be included in the DAS proposal to address key issues raised by the customer operational and technical leads.

  • Define and execute the technical aspects of the solution transition plan after signed contact, shifting ongoing technical responsibility to DAS Delivery and Customer Success.

  • Ensure full alignment with DAS flight deck, flight operations, and enterprise architecture strategies, aligning customer commitments to solution implementations.

  • Provide Voice of Customer (VoC) to the GTS and DAS architect groups and software development leadership to ensure that customer solutions are being met by DAS offerings or are communicated as future needs.

  • Participate as directed in thought leadership and other key technical business decision maker engagement and vision workshops.

  • Participate in tradeshows and other company and industry events as directed.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • In depth experience with complex aviation application (flight operations and flight deck) and IT/technical customer facing work.

  • Understanding and experience with enterprise architecture and digital transformation concepts, including but not limited to cloud architecture, security, data privacy, integration, and deployment.

  • Experience working with key technical business decision makers in customers.

  • Complex software integration experience (e.g. 24x7 day of operations solutions).

  • Broad understanding of IT trends, emerging technologies and IT best practices.

  • Demonstrated experience and comfort level engaging with key customer stakeholders from the CIO to end users.

  • Motivated self-starter who can work independently and has demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders such as sales, customer success, product management, and senior leaders.

  • Creative problem solving and experience with Value Based Selling.

  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.

  • Experience with CRM platforms and other third-party SaaS sales/mar-comm technology.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, business, technology).

  • Knowledge of Boeing Digital Aviation portfolio and services.

  • Commercial aviation experience within Flight and/or Tech Op.

This requisition is for an international, locally hired position in the United Arab Emirates. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S.-based payroll and will commensurate with experience and qualifications and in accordance with applicable UAE law. Employment is subject to the candidate's ability to satisfy all UAE labor and immigration formalities.
