Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager for Cabin Interior to lead our cabin design and engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of cabin interior designs that meet regulatory requirements, customer specifications, and industry standards. This role requires a strong technical background in aerospace engineering, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of EASA regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the cabin interior engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high-quality design and engineering outputs.
  • Oversee the design, development, and certification of cabin interior components, including seating, lighting, and other passenger amenities.
  • Ensure compliance with EASA regulations and standards throughout the design and certification process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of cabin interior systems.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to meet project milestones and deliverables.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments of engineering designs to ensure they meet performance, safety, and aesthetic requirements.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for cabin interior projects with internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes related to cabin interiors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree (or higher) in an engineering discipline, a Minimum of 10 years of experience in aerospace engineering, with a focus on cabin interiors would also be considered.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role, managing engineering teams and projects.
  • Strong knowledge of EASA regulations and certification processes related to cabin interiors.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools relevant to cabin design.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools
