The Boeing Company is seeking a Global Retail Lead(Virtual) to join our team.

Boeing Stores Inc., a fully integrated subsidiary of The Boeing Company, is dedicated to extending and protecting the Boeing brand through engaging face-to-face and digital experiences. Our responsibilities encompass branded merchandise management across retail, mobile, digital, wholesale, internal merchandise support, and consumer product licensing. We also curate immersive experiences, including multi-site tours and the renowned Boeing Factory Tour at the Boeing Future of Flight (BFoF) attraction. Our operations include content development, marketing, technical support, and Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibility, all aimed at enhancing the Boeing brand.

We are seeking a dynamic, organized, and self-driven Global Retail Lead to oversee the execution and operational strategy of Boeing’s global retail channels. In this role, you will lead the expansion of Boeing Store locations and branded merchandise access globally ensuring consistency, scalability, and alignment with our enterprise brand strategy. You will also manage licensing and third-party contract relationships, ensuring legal compliance and strategic alignment. You’ll be at the forefront of expanding our global retail presence while incorporating localized approaches that reflect the unique needs of each market.

This position blends strategic development with operational oversight, ensuring that our global retail channels are efficient, cohesive, and responsive to market opportunities and partner capabilities. You will work cross-functionally with merchandising, legal, supply chain, retail, IT, and licensing teams to deliver a seamless and high-impact reseller experience while optimizing systems, platforms, and processes to support long-term growth, brand strength, and enterprise value creation.

Position Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership and Expansion

  • Leads the operational planning and global expansion of Boeing’s retail channels, including market entry assessments, localization strategies, order fulfillment, inventory coordination, pricing alignment, and demand forecasting

  • Incorporates localized retail strategies that address unique market needs while maintaining global brand consistency

  • Translates global merchandising strategy into scalable operational processes and partners enablement toolkits

  • Develops strategic frameworks for licensing and third-party contract management, focusing on global consistency

  • Translates global merchandising strategy into scalable operational processes and partners enablement toolkits

  • Recommends and implements effective cross-border solutions for technology integration, compliance, logistics, and supplier onboarding

  • Develops strategies for licensing and third-party contract management, ensuring consistent application of brand standards and compliance across all global retail channels

Global Operations and Contract Oversight

  • Owns end-to-end global retail operations, including order fulfillment, inventory coordination, pricing alignment, and demand forecasting for all reseller and external operator accounts

  • Partners with the legal team on contract setup and negotiations, ensuring that all agreements align with brand strategy and operational goals

  • Acts as the lead integrator with the global communications team to align brand prioritization and strategy, fostering cross-functional support across retail, digital, wholesale, and licensing initiatives

  • Manages third-party retail contracts and licensing agreements, ensuring compliance, performance tracking, and alignment with global retail strategy

  • Identifies inefficiencies or gaps in execution and drive process improvements that reduce lead times, improve accuracy, and enhance customer experience

Brand Governance and Partner Enablement

  • Serves as the subject matter expert on brand standards across global retail channels, leading reviews of merchandising execution, signage, and storefront presentation to ensure global brand cohesion

  • Designs and leads onboarding programs for new resellers, operators, and licensees that establish service-level expectations, product knowledge, and compliance with Boeing’s merchandising standards

Data and Performance Analytics

  • Oversees reporting frameworks that track global reseller Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), customer satisfaction, reorder rates, and merchandise sell-through across geographies

  • Uses market and sales data to identify growth opportunities, optimize assortments, and improve overall profitability across the global retail network

Cross-Functional Engagement and Leadership

  • Acts as the primary integrator and liaison between Boeing Stores, global communications, merchandising, legal, supply chain, retail, IT, and licensing teams to align brand strategy and support cross-functional initiatives

  • Fosters alignment on brand prioritization and strategy through collaboration with global communications and cross-functional teams

  • Contributes thought leadership to enterprise projects involving retail innovation, supply chain improvements, licensing strategy, or global channel strategy

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in wholesale, global retail operations, licensing, third-party contract management, supply chain, or merchandising strategy

  • Demonstrated success in launching or scaling global programs, particularly in retail, consumer goods, or branded merchandise environments

  • Expertise in project management, process design, and cross-functional collaboration at an enterprise level

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong analytical mindset and attention to detail

  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, solving complex problems with creative, data-informed solutions

  • Experience in managing licensing agreements and third-party retail contracts

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with global retail expansion or branded merchandise environments.

  • Knowledge of compliance, logistics, and technology integration for retail and licensing.

  • Familiarity with data-driven decision-making and performance analysis.

  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.

The specific programs and options available to any given employee may vary depending on eligibility factors such as geographic location, date of hire, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range: $81,600 - $126,500
